how far in advance is booking required?

We can book Elopement Packages as little as 5-7 days prior.
For A-la-Carte services we kindly ask for bookings at least 30-days prior.
For our full floral service weddings, we recommend a minimum of 6 months advance booking, however we do take on a limited number of full service events per year and tend to book up about a year in advance.

What is Wilder’s™ role?

We are floral designers, focusing mainly on the florals but take into consideration the overall look of the event. We create floral design concepts for each part of our clients events. This includes ingredient selection, a vision board, a detailed design proposal with floral and rental suggestions for each aspect of the event. While we won’t manage other vendors, we love working with event designers and planners to make clients events cohesive and seamless.

Does Wilder™ provide Mock Ups or sample arrangements

Sample arrangements can be provided upon request and will be charged based on the arrangement, however due to the nature of seasonality and our organic design style, we cannot guarantee sample arrangements as an exact representation. We find mock ups are often unnecessary and cost prohibitive, as the fee for a sample arrangement can be much higher than the cost when producing the entire event due to the nature of bulk purchasing. We highly encourage our clients to know and understand Wilder’s design style and we work very closely with our clients through our very thorough and detailed design deck so that clients know exactly what to expect.

does wilder™ provide consultations and site visits

We offer an initial 1-hour consultation for our full-service clients, and a 30-minute design consultation for our a-la-carte clients. Additional consultations and site visits are available depending on our availability and will be charged by an hourly rate plus a standard travel fee.

does wilder™ provide rentals?

For our full-service clients, we offer a selection from our inventory of vases, footed urns, taper candle holders, and a some other accents. Please inquire for our latest rental inventory.

Can wilder™ work with My Own Containers/Vases?

Generally, we only use vases that we source from our suppliers and can be sure our mechanics will be successful in. Occasionally we will with containers from a reputable rental company. We do not use vases for centerpieces supplied by the client. We have an extensive line of inventory to help keep costs down, and vases available to purchase for guests to take home. We are happy to adorn flowers with specialty props (such as arches) that clients may have or have rented from a rental company.

Does Wilder™ Charge a Delivery or destination fee?

At the time of presenting clients with a custom quote, all expenses have been factored in, including sales tax, and any and all fees for our services.

What is Wilder’s™ service area?

Based in San Luis Obispo, we consider our ‘backyard’ to span the coast. For weddings, Wilder will consider destinations throughout all of California. While our main client base is in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties We have worked at and are considered preferred vendors at many distinguished venues in California from the Northern Napa Valley to the Southern Los Angeles area. Here’s a list of some of our favorite venues to work at and we will always explore new ones.

Does Wilder™ Have a minimum?

Depending on the type of floral service our clients book, there are different cost ranges we recommend to expect. Our A-la-carte option has no financial minimum required, and is priced depending on what floral items are selected. For our full floral service for weddings, clients should anticipate a minimum financial commitment of $8,000.

What should I expect for Investment?

The pricing of flowers for a wedding is one of the hardest questions to answer.  It depends on many factors including the complexity or size of the design, the specific blooms being used, number of arrangements, how big of a production team we will need for the day, etc. Aside from that, it is also a unique art form and takes time and care to create.
